Kamut is a type of wheat also known as Krorasan, that is powerfully nutritious - loaded with more protein, fiber many vitamins and antioxidants that regular wheat doesn't have. It can be found in natural food stores. Ingredients:
1 cup kamut |
4 cups water |
8 -10 ounces extra lean ground beef |
1/2 cup salsa |
1/2 cup fresh spinach leaves |
1 romaine lettuce hearts |
3/4 cup cotija cheese, (or feta), crumbled |
Directions:
1. cook Kamut according to package directions in the water, drain if necessary. 2. brown ground beef, mix in salsa, spinach leaves, and mix with cooked Kamut. 3. spoon into romaine leaves. 4. top with crumbled cheese. |
