I got this recipe out of a Kahlua recipe book. I thought it might be a nice twist to an old favorite. Ingredients:
1 pie crust |
1 cup evaporated milk |
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar |
1/4 cup kahlua |
1/4 cup light corn syrup |
1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. beat eggs and add pumpkin. 2. stir in rest of ingredients well. 3. preheat oven 450. 4. cook empty pie shell 8 minutes. 5. carefully pour filling into pie shell. 6. reduce oven to 325. 7. bake for about 45-50 minutes. 8. cool on wire rack. |
