This is just one of the many desserts I am making for out Family's reunion for July 22nd. Ingredients:
1 pastry crust |
1/4 cup butter |
3/4 cup granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 tablespoons flour |
3 eggs |
1/2 cup kahlua |
1/2 cup dark corn syrup |
3/4 cup evaporated milk |
1 cup pecans |
Directions:
1. Line 9-inch pie pan with your favorite pastry recipe. 2. Chill for 1 hour. 3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 4. In large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, vanilla and flour. 5. Mix well. 6. Beat in eggs, one at a time. 7. Stir in Kahlua, corn syrup, evaporated milk, pecans. 8. Mix well, pour into pie pan. 9. Bake for 10 minutes. 10. Then reduce heat to 325 degrees F and bake until firm (about 40 minutes). 11. Chill & Garnish, if desired. |
