The kahlua lends a great flavor to the pecan mixture. A great holiday pie. Ingredients:
1 9 inch pie shell, unbaked |
1/4 cup butter |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 tablespoons flour |
3 eggs |
1/2 cup kahlua |
1/2 cup dark corn syrup |
3/4 cup evaporated milk |
1 1/4 cups chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and flour until fluffy. 2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. 3. Stir in kahlua, corn syrup, milk and pecans. 4. Mix well and pour into crust. 5. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. 6. Reduce heat to 325° and bake for 40 minutes more, until center is firm. |
