This is another Cate Olsen/Owl and the Pussycat wonderful recipe. INTENSE chocolate! Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour |
2 cups sugar |
1/2 cup hot coffee |
1/2 cup cold water |
1/2 cup kahlua |
2/3 cup oil |
3/4 cup cocoa |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
3 large eggs |
9 ounces chocolate chips (3/4 of a bag) mini chips |
Directions:
1. Dump everything into a bowl except chips. Mix well and then fold in chips. Bake at 350 in greased and floured bundt pan. Bake until done it tests done. (These are the directions I got - you'll know when its done, too.) 2. Frosting: Melt the other 1/4 of the bag of chips and fold into a container of Cool Whip with a little Kahlua - frost cake. |
