This is another Cate Olsen/Owl and the Pussycat wonderful recipe. INTENSE chocolate!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup hot coffee
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup kahlua
2/3 cup oil
3/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
9 ounces chocolate chips (3/4 of a bag) mini chips
Directions:
1. Dump everything into a bowl except chips. Mix well and then fold in chips. Bake at 350 in greased and floured bundt pan. Bake until done it tests done. (These are the directions I got - you'll know when its done, too.)
2. Frosting: Melt the other 1/4 of the bag of chips and fold into a container of Cool Whip with a little Kahlua - frost cake.
