This is one of my all time favorite party dips to make-ahead, it's delicious! And - I garontee there won't be any of this left after the party! Thank you, Justin Wilson! Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice |
1 pound shrimp, cooked, peeled, and coarsely chopped |
2 cups finely chopped green onions |
1 cup mayonnaise |
louisiana hot sauce or cayenne pepper to taste |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. In a medium sized mixing bowl, mix the lemon juice and cream cheese together. 2. Stir the shrimp and green onions into the cream cheese. 3. Add the mayonnaise and stir in the hot sauce, Worcestershire, and salt. 4. Turn the mixture into a serving dish and chill. 5. This dish is **better if it is made a day or several hours ahead. 6. Serve with crackers, melba toast, or chips. |
