I found this in my mother in laws recipe box after she passed away. I don't know where she got it, but it is really good! Ingredients:
1 small pkg. chocolate chips |
1/2 cup margarine or butter |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1 cup chopped nuts. |
in seperate pan |
1- 6 oz. can evaporated milk |
2 cups sugar |
10 large marshmellows |
Directions:
1. Put the chocolate chips, butter, vanilla and nuts in a medium sized bowl.
2. Bring to a boil the evaporated milk, sugar, and marshmellows stirring constantly over low heat. Boil for 8 minutes.
3. Pour boiled mixture over the mixture in the bowl and stir until melted. Pour into a prepared pan and place in refrigerator to harden.
