Yummy, crunch onion rings without the fat!! Clever recipe I got from a weight loss group online, but for the life of me I can't remember where. Ingredients:
6 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 large yellow sweet onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick,separated into rings |
1 egg white |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. 2. Combine crumbs, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. 3. Dip onion rings in egg white, then in crumbs. 4. Place rings on a nonstick baking sheet. 5. Bake 10 minutes. |
