This is a very elegant, tasty appetizer for a dinner party. And it's not hard to make! Ingredients:
1 loaf very thin white bread |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1 cup mayonnaise |
3 ounces crab meat |
3 ounces deveined peeled cooked shrimp |
1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese |
1/3 cup shredded swiss cheese |
1/3 cup chopped onion |
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
2 -3 drops tabasco sauce |
paprika |
Directions:
1. Trim the crusts from the bread and flatten slightly with a rolling pin. Cut rounds from the centers of each slice with a 3-inch round cutter. Dip each round into the butter. Press the rounds into miniature muffin cups. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. 2. Combine the mayonnaise, crab meat, shrimp, parmesan cheese, swiss cheese, onion, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce in a food processor. Pulse slightly or just until 10 minutes. Serve immediately. |
