Junior League - Barbecued Baby Back Pork Ribs |

Tasty traditional Texas BBQ! Ingredients:
salt and pepper (to season) |
8 lbs baby back ribs |
barbecue sauce |
3/4 cup cider vinegar |
3/4 warm water |
3 tablespoons dry mustard |
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar |
1 tablespoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon dark molasses |
1 cup butter |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/4 cup chili sauce |
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons minced onions |
1 garlic clove |
Directions:
1. BBQ: Season both sides of ribs with salt and pepper. Arrange ribs on baking pan, baste both sides with BBQ sauce. Pour 1/2 cup of water in bottom of pan. Bake at 300 for 2 hours or until almost cooked, baste with sauce throughout. Grill over hot coals for 30 minutes or until done. 2. Sauce: Combine vinegar and water with mustard, brown sugar, salt, pepper, paprika, and molasses. Let stand for 10 minutes. Combine the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil and let simmer on low for 30 minutes, stirring frequently. |
