cheesy pots! Ingredients:
9 medium potatoes unpeeled |
1/3 cup butter |
1/3 cup flour |
2 1/4 cup half and half or milk |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
3 tbsp breadcrumbs |
1 onion- chopped/minced sauteed |
Directions:
1. Cook unpeeled potatoes and 1 teaspoon salt until tender, about 25 min 2. Peel and cut up potatoes into 9x13 casserole dish 3. In large sauce pan melt butter and onion 4. Stir in flour and blend until smooth 5. Stir in milk until bubbly 6. Stir in 2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper 7. Pour over potatoes in casserole dish covering all potatoes 8. -you can also gently stir 9. Top with cheese and bread crumbs 10. *Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes uncovered |
