crumble topping |
1/2 cup flour |
1 tsp cinnamon |
1/4 cup cold butter |
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar |

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries not thawed |
2 cups plus 1 tbsp flour |
2/3 cup sugar |
2 tsp baking powder |
1/4 tsp soda |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/4 tsp salt |
6 tbsp butter melted and cooled |
1 cup buttermilk |
1 tsp vanilla |
1 large egg |
Directions:
1. Make topping 2. Combine flour cinnamon and brown sugar cut in butter set aside 3. Preheat oven 350* 4. If using fresh berries rinse and dry completely and toss with 1 tbsp flour 5. In bowl stir together dry ingredients . 6. Make a well in center 7. in another bowl whisk egg, and buttermilk until combined add vanilla and melted butter mix well. 8. Pour into well stirring slowly drawing in dry ingredients until almost but not quit combined 9. Add berries folding in just to distribute evenly 10. Don't over mix 11. Divide batter among 6 large cups. sprinkle evenly with topping and bake 30-35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan and cool completely on rack. |
