This will produce some of the juiciest steaks you will ever cook at your house. Adjust times according to the type and thickness of the steaks. Ingredients:
2 steaks |
worcestershire sauce |
donnie’s cajun seasoning mix (recipe can be found with my recipes on my profile page. or use equivalent ingredients.) |
paprika |
olive oil |
butter |
Directions:
1. On the steaks, sprinkle the Worcestershire sauce, Cajun seasoning and the Paprika. Rub in real good. 2. Place into a Zip-loc bag and put into the refrigerator for 3 hours, flipping about every hour. 3. Remove from refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature. (30-45 minutes) 4. Preheat oven to 350 deg. 5. In a nonstick skillet heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter on medium high heat. 6. Shear the steaks for about 1-2 minutes on each side. (Browning well but not burning) 7. Remove steaks from heat and put into another a room temperature nonstick pan. 8. Put pan in oven for 6-10 minutes flipping the steaks once after 3-5 minutes. 9. Remove from oven, place on a plate, cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes. 10. Serve and enjoy :) |
