My Mother-in-law wanted stroganoff, she started looking at recipes, but she wanted something quick and inexpensive enough to feed a family of 5 and nothing she found fit that bill so she made one up. So in memory of my Mother in Law here is her recipe. By the way for those that dont like mushroom Golden mushroom soup has very large mushroom pieces that can easily be removed by those mushroom haters in your family. Ingredients:
2 lbs lean ground beef |
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup |
12 ounces sour cream |
Directions:
1. I often use strip steak in the recipe instead of ground beef. 2. Brown meat in electric skillet. 3. Add soup and cook until meat is done. 4. Add sour cream and heat through. 5. Serve over hot noodles. |
