Note: To avoid having to chop hot peppers, I buy a deli packed salsa. I like Save-on Food's fresh salsa – and you can pick the heat you like. I don't like to use a canned or jar packed salsa. Ingredients:
1 -1 1/2 cup prepared salsa |
1 (14 ounce) can black beans (rinsed) |
1 (8 ounce) can corn kernels |
1 medium cooking onion, chopped fine (red or white) |
3 garlic cloves |
juice of two lime |
1 -2 cup fresh cilantro, coarsely chopped |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
Directions:
1. Mix together and refrigerate until ready to serve. |
