We usually only make this during the holidays but it's delicious ANYTIME! Friends start placing their orders with us in November and guarantee themselves more if they return the bottle. For bottles, either save brown glass bottles (wash thoroughly!!) or buy brown bottles with flip tops from a home brew business. Ingredients:
1 cup scotch |
24 ounces half-and-half cream |
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk |
1 egg, beaten |
1/4 teaspoon instant coffee |
1 tablespoon chocolate syrup |
Directions:
1. Beat the egg, then mix all together thoroughly. Taste and tweak as necessary (we usually go a little heavy on the scotch, coffee & syrup). Pour into clean brown glass bottles and store in the refrigerator. Shake bottles every other day. Tastes better after aging 2 weeks but is also great consumed right away. Feel free to use the cheap scotch as the price you pay has NO effect on the flavor. |
