Ingredients:
1 pound(s) great northern beans
3 cup(s) yellow onion sliced
1/4 cup(s) molasses
1/4 cup(s) packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon(s) vinegar
1 tablespoon(s) cider vingar
1/4 teaspoon(s) cloves, ground
1 teaspoon(s) dry mustard
6 slice(s) canadian bacon
1 teaspoon(s) garlic, granulated
Directions:
1. Soak beans overnight in water 2 inches above beans.
2. Rinse beans and return to pan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, turn off heat, cover and let stand one hour.
3. Spray saute pan with olive oil mister or Pam. Saute onions, 3 minutes.
4. Chop bacon and add to onions.
5. Add beans and water to crock pot with remaining ingredients. Cook on low 6-8 hours. keep checking to ensure beans are covered with water.
