This is really simple to make. For those of you who are on WIC a great way to use beans:) Ingredients:
small bag of dried pinto beans washed and sorted |
salt to taste |
3 large bay leaves |
water about 1 1/2 inches from the top of slow cooker |
that's it |
Directions:
1. Throw everything together and let cook for 8 hours on High in the slow cooker. Turn to low when boiling. 2. When done drain into another container 3. you can mash them and add bean juice to desired consistancy, or you can eat them unmashed. 4. enjoy |
