Great with Fahita's Ingredients:
1 28-0unce can of herb and spice tomatoes (drain juice out) |
1/2 small red onion |
small bunch (10 or 15 leaves) cilantro |
1 tbls sugar |
1 tbls olive oil |
1/2 jalapeno pepper (3/4 for medium to hot depending on |
size of pepper) finely diced (carefuldo not get your fingers near your eyes!) |
1 tbls of limejuice |
Directions:
1. Put ingredients in a food processor or blender and (THIS IS IMPORTANT!) just pulse it a couple of times to chop the tomatoes. This is the tricky part, as you do not want to puree everything. A couple of quick pulses are all it takes. 2. Keep in refrigerator up to one week |
