Ingredients:
1 cup johnnycake meal |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 3/4 cups hot water |
1/3 cup light cream |
Directions:
1. Gently mix ingredients, let sit for 5 minutes. Cook on a hot griddle like a pancake until golden brown. Flip and brown other side. Serve with butter and maple syrup or jam. |
