This was one of my favorites when I went to visit my Grandma. It's simple and kids love it. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 small onion, diced |
1/2 bell pepper, diced |
1 (42 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce |
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 lb wide egg noodles |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, onion, pepper in skillet; drain grease. 2. Add salt, pepper and garlic. 3. Cook noodles according to direction and drain. 4. In large casserole dish combine noodles, Ragu and ground beef mixture. 5. Mix and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. 6. Bake at 350* covered with foil. 7. The last 10 minutes, remove foil and continue cooking. |
