Ingredients:
allspice |
cumin |
1 cup(s) lentils |
olive oil |
1 onion cut in half, then into slices |
1/2 cup(s) rice |
salt |
Directions:
1. Put lentils in pot, cover with 1" water, add oil, cover and and cook. 2. Heat olive oil in large frying pan. Add salt, allspice, cumin the onion slices, add to frying pan and carmelize. 3. When lentils are half way cooked add rice, cover, continue cooking. |
