My Supervisor brought these in for our Potluck. They are melt-in-your-mouth AWESOME! Ingredients:
1 lb butter - not margerine (room temperature) |
1 c. powdered sugar |
1 c. cake flour (silk) |
1 c. cornstarch |
1 c. flour |
Directions:
1. Whip butter until light and fluffy. 2. Add remaining ingredients, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 3. Divide dough into 3 lumps. 4. On wax paper, form into 3 rolls. 5. Chill 2 hours or overnights. 6. Allow to warm slightly to slice thinly (1/4 of an inch) and decorate. You can use colored sugar. 7. Bake at 300 F for 10-15 minutes. DO NOT BROWN, they should be just a pale color. 8. Makes 90-100 Heavenly Cookies. |
