My mother made this for me when I was growing up. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of celery soup |
5 ounces milk (half can) |
1 small onion, chopped |
salt |
pepper |
celery, chopped |
mashed potatoes |
Directions:
1. Brown beef, pour off fat. Add celery and onion, salt and pepper to taste. Add soup and milk. Simmer. 2. Put into casserole, top with mashed potatoes. Brown in oven. (325 degrees or so.). 3. You can skip browning if in a hurry, and just put the sauce on top of the potatoes. |
