This is the recipe that is found on the side of the box of Jiffy Baking Mix. These have always been a big hit with my family around Christmas time. Ingredients:
2 cups jiffy baking mix |
2/3 cup sugar |
1/3 cup milk |
5 tablespoons shortening |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients and mix vigorously until well blended.
2. Drop by tablespoons onto prepared cookie sheets.
3. Bake at 350ยบ F for 8 - 10 minutes.
