1 cup sugar |
3/4 cup self raising flour |
2 eggs |
375 g dates, pitted and chopped |
185 g walnuts, chopped |
1 teaspoon vanilla essence |
Directions:
1. Beat eggs and sugar together. 2. Stir in flour, walnuts, dates and vanilla. 3. Press into grease lamington tin. 4. Bake in a moderate oven - 180 C for 25 minutes. 5. Cut into bars while still hot then leave to cool. |
