These are so yummy. My aunt submitted them to our family cookbook her story is as follows; These cookies were served in the cafeteria when I was in elementary school. My daughter Leeann made these and entered them in the county fair and received a blue ribbon!!! The reason I chose this recipe is because they are my favorites! I love these as well, and you can leave out the cocoa for a peanut butter jiffy rather than peanut butter and chocolate. Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
3 tablespoons cocoa |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup butter |
2 1/2 cups oatmeal |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Boil group 1 ingredients hard for 1 minute. 2. Pour in group 2 ingredients stir well. 3. Drop on wax paper and let cool completely. 4. ENJOY! |
