Great with coffee/tea. Not too sweet. Ingredients:
1/4 lb butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 egg |
2 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 cup sour cream |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
12 ounces chocolate chips (small bag) |
1/3 cup chopped nuts (walnuts are fine) |
Directions:
1. Blend butter, sugar & egg. 2. Mix in remaining ingredients, except chips & nuts. 3. Then add choc. chips & nuts. 4. Divide batter into fourths. 5. Spread on ungreased cookie sheet. 6. Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes. 7. Pat into loaf & flatten down a little. 8. Cut into slices immediately. |
