Purim recipe. Also great with tea/coffee. Ingredients:
4 eggs |
1 cup oil |
1 1/4 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
3 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
5 1/2 cups flour |
raspberry preserves or apricot jam, lekvar, etc |
Directions:
1. Beat first 4 ingredients. 2. Sift remaining ingredients & add to egg mixture. 3. Knead dough until smooth. (Add flour if needed.). 4. Roll out. 5. Cut into circles. 6. Add 1 teaspoons filling of choice into center. 7. Form into triangles. 8. Grease baking pan lightly. 9. Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes. |
