Jewish Apple Or Peach Cake

One bowl Apple or peach flavored easy, moist cake which also freezes well
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
4 eggs
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
5 large apples, peeled and thin sliced
3 tbs sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
or
1 can peach pie filling
1 tsp cherry or almond extract
Directions:
1. In a large bowl place first 6 ingredients and beat well.
2. Mixture will be thick
3. Mix apples with sugar and cinnamon.
4. Place 1/2 batter into a greased and floured bundt or tube pan.
5. Add the apples.
6. Cover with remaining batter.
7. If using peach filling: use cherry and almond extract, omit the sugar and cinnamon ( or sprinkle top of cake batter with the extra sugar and cinnamon.
8. Bake 350F about 90 minutes for apple cake or 60 minutes for peach filled cake.
9. Test each at 60 minutes.
10. When done, cook in pan and carelly remove when cool.
