1 lb cherries |
2 1/2 cups water |
10 ounces frozen strawberries |
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
4 1/2 cups sugar |
1 (3 ounce) package sure-jell |
Directions:
1. pit cherries 2. chop 3. cook til soft add strawberries and lemon juice and sugar 4. mix well. 5. bring to a full boil 6. boil hard 1 minute stirring constantly 7. remove from heat add sure jell stir 8. skim foam 9. this cools it slightly and keeps fruit from floating 10. this is what recipe says ypu may need to cook morre 11. ladle into glasses and pour melted paraffin over them makes about 7 glasses 12. i would put in 1/2 pint jars and waterbath these according to ball instructions. |
