Use a ready made crust or make your own. This is a Southern Classic recipe. Hope you enjoy it! Ingredients:
1 cup white/clear karo corn syrup |
1 cup granulated white sugar |
3 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 1/3 cups fresh pecans (whole or chopped) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F 2. Pour the first 5 ingredients into a bowl. 3. Add eggs and beat well. 4. Pour in the pecans and mix well. 5. Pour this into an unbaked pie shell (9- 10 inch pie pan) 6. Place pie in the middle of the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. 7.
