I got this recipe over 20 years ago after my friend Barbara made this for a church Valentine Dinner. Ingredients:
6 -7 medium potatoes |
8 ounces sour cream |
salt, to taste |
pepper, to taste |
1/2 medium onion, diced |
2 cups shredded longhorn cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Peel and cube potatoes. 2. Put in saucepan with water and boil until tender. 3. Drain. 4. Add sour cream, onion, salt and pepper. 5. Whip with mixer until creamy. 6. Put into a 9x13 lightly butter baking dish. 7. Top with cheese. 8. Bake at 350* for 25-30 minutes. |
