This is a recipe that was shared with me over 15 years ago by a high school teacher I knew. I don't know where he got the recipe from. I have made it for many years. My family loves it. I hope you enjoy it too. I like to serve this with cooked rice, either on the side or mixed in the bowl with the stuff . Don't forget a nice loaf of French bread to go along with it. Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger (uncooked) |
2 (15 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes, with juice (regular flavor or italian flavor) |
1 medium head of cabbage (cut into bite size) |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Mix everything together in a 6 quart crock pot. 2. Cook for 8 hours on low. |
