This is a rub that I use on almost all kinda of meats. Even though it says in the title that it is a rib rub, it is also great on beef, chicken and turkey. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons kosher salt |
6 tablespoons garlic powder |
6 tablespoons brown sugar |
6 tablespoons chili powder |
2 tablespoons onion powder |
2 tablespoons dried thyme |
2 tablespoons ground cumin |
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1 teaspoon ground chipotle chile pepper |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combime all ingredients in a bowl and mix together. This recipe makes 14 ounces, so you can store any leftover in an airtight spice jar to make sure that the brown sugar doesn't clump. |
