This is my version of a classic stuffed zucchini. Ingredients:
1- 2 large zucchini's |
1 jar of spaghetti sauce |
1 lb ground meat |
small onion |
minced garlic (or powder) to taste |
salt and pepper- to taste |
shredded mozzerella |
parmesean cheese (can) for topping |
casserole dish 13x9 |
non stick cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Cut zucchini's in half (length wise) 2. scoop out seeds 3. brown meat, onion, garlic and spices-drain grease 4. scoop meat mixture into zucchini's 5. pour spaghetti sauce over zucchini's 6. top with cheese's 7. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45-60 depending on 8. your oven. Let rest for 5-10 minutes beore eating. 9. Note: Do not salt and pepper zucchini's before meat mixture, 10. they will get tough. 11.
