This recipe comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't cooked any of the recipes yet. I'm putting them here so I can find them easier. Ingredients:
1 (14 ounce) can lobsters |
4 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon onion, minced |
1/2 cup celery, diced |
2 tablespoons green peppers, minced |
1/2 cup water |
1 quart milk, scalded |
salt |
paprika |
2 tablespoons parsley, minced |
Directions:
1. Drain lobster. Reserve liquor, and flake meat. Melt butter. Add onion, celery and green pepper, and cook 2 minutes over low heat. Add water, cover and cook 5 minutes. Add lobster liquor and flaked lobster. Heat thoroughly and add scalded milk. 2. Season to taste with salt and paprika. add minced parsley. Serve with hot crackers. |
