Shish Taouk style chicken. Prep time does not include marinating time. This goes great with my lentil & rice recipe. Goes great with my yogurt garlic sauce. Ingredients:
6 medium chicken breasts, cut into chunks |
1 cup fat free greek yogurt |
1 (5 1/2 ounce) can tomato paste |
1/4 cup olive oil |
6 tablespoons lemon juice |
3/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
2 tablespoons oregano |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes |
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional) |
Directions:
1. Mix all of the ingredients for the chicken skewers in a large freezer bag and marinate over night or at least 3 hours. Thread Chicken pieces onto 6 wooden skewers that have been soaked. Grill 10 to 15 minutes on medium heat or until no longer pink. |
