Low fat, high protein and easy to make!
Ingredients:
2 lbs extra lean ground beef
3 (284 ml) cans whole mushrooms
2 (14 ounce) cans pork and beans in tomato sauce
1 (28 ounce) can red kidney beans
2 (19 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, chili style
2 (1 1/4 ounce) packages chili seasoning mix
1 (5 1/2 ounce) can tomato paste
1 medium onion, diced
3 garlic cloves
1 (680 ml) can tomato sauce
2 -3 tablespoons cumin
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 tablespoon chili powder
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef, onions and garlic in skillet. Drain Kidney Beans and Mushrooms. Mix all ingredients into slow cooker and cook on high 3-4 hours or on low 6-8 hours.
