I love this recipe because it is so easy. My 8 year old brother could eat a whole batch if my mom let him. Her tarts were goat cheese and caramelized onions which almost no one in my family would eat. I came up with the idea to fill the tarts with jelly and it turned out to be a home run. My favorite would either be apple jelly, strawberry jelly, or cherry preserves. Ingredients:
1 pre made pie dough |
butter-flavored cooking spray |
12 tablespoons of assorted jelly (jam and preserves work great too) |
Directions:
1. preheat the oven to 375 degrees. 2. lay out the pie dough and use the rim of a 15oz. can to cut 12 perfect circles. 3. grease a mini muffin tin. 4. put the circles in their own sections and shape the circles to to fit the tin. 5. put a tbsp of jelly, jam, or preserves in each dough circle 6. bake for 15-20min (really watch these, they burn easily). |
