A great Easter treat (or any other time)! Cookies baked with jelly beans in them. The kids, old and young will love this one. Ingredients:
1/2 cup soft butter |
1/3 cup sugar |
1/3 cup light brown sugar |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 1/4 cups flour |
1/2 cup rolled oats |
1 cup jelly beans, cut in pieces |
Directions:
1. Mix butter and both sugars until smooth. 2. Stir in egg, baking soda, baking powder, salt and vanilla and mix well. 3. Stir in flour and oats until well blended. 4. Stir in jelly beans. 5. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet about 2 apart. 6. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. |
