Soft and delicious, very easy to make! Any flavor jello works - my family likes strawberry the best. Ingredients:
1 cup margarine |
1/2 cup white sugar |
3 ounces gelatin powder (any flavor) |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 3/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons margarine |
3 tablespoons gelatin powder (same flavor as cookie) |
5 tablespoons warm milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 cups powdered sugar (or more to thicken) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. For cookies: Cream margarine, sugar, and box of jello. 3. Mix in one egg at a time, then add milk and vanilla and beat well. 4. Add dry ingredients. 5. Drop by tsp on ungreased baking sheet. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown. 7. This is a very soft cookie. After completely cool, frost with jello icing. 8. For icing: Mix all ingredients and stir. Add more powdered sugar if necessary to thicken. |
