This is an old recipe from Jell-O. Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, melted |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup milk |
3 1/2 cups cool whip |
4 -6 fresh peaches, peeled & sliced or 1 (16 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained |
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package jell-o brand gelatin, any flavor |
3/4 cup boiling water |
1/2 cup cold water |
ice cube |
Directions:
1. Combine crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter; press firmly into bottom of 13X9-inch pan; chill 15 minutes. 2. Beat cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar; gradually beat in milk. 3. Fold in whipped topping and spread evenly over crumb crust. 4. Top with peaches; chill. 5. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. 6. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1 1/4 cups; add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened; remove any unmelted ice. 7. Gently spoon over peaches; chill until firm, 3 hours. 8. To serve, cut into squares. |
