Simple, easy to make, and wonderful. Ingredients:
1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 jalapeno pepper |
1 serrano pepper |
1/2 green bell pepper |
1 dried red chili pepper |
1 yellow onion |
2 garlic cloves |
1/3 cup cilantro |
1/2 ounce lime juice |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper |
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 teaspoon kosher salt |
Directions:
1. In a food processer, pulse the peppers, onion and garlic to a coarse chop. 2. Add Cilantro and pulse to desired size. 3. Add Tomatoes with all remaining ingredients and pulse to around a fine diced texture. 4. Let refrigerate for atleast 24 hours before serving. |
