This is an Asian dish I found a long time ago. Originally you were supposed to put them in little foil packets and fry them. I found this too messy and it was just easier to grill it! The longer you let it sit - the better it is. Read more . I always marinade it for at least 24 hours up to 48 hours. Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
5 tbs. soy sauce |
1/4 cup chinese black bean sauce |
1/4 cup sliced green onions |
1/4 cup chopped parsley |
3 tbs. hoisen sauce |
2 tbs. dry sherry |
1 tbs. sesame oil |
2 tsp. ground ginger |
2 tsp. minced garlic |
1/2 tsp. five spice powder |
2 pounds chicken tenders |

Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and marinade overnight. 2. Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes. 3. Grill on medium heat til juices run clear; about 20-30 minutes. |
