As made for us to celebrate baby in Feb 1998- an instant hit with the kids. Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef |
1 chopped onion |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1/4 cup catsup |
2 cups cooked vegetables |
5 potatoes, cooked and mashed |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. 2. Add seasonings, tomato sauce, catsup, and vegetables. 3. Transfer to 10 pie plate or 2 qt casserole dish. 4. Top with mashed potatoes. If desired, dot with butter and sprinkle lightly with parmesan cheese. 5. Bake uncovered at 350* for about 20 minutes. |
