Jazzed up Saucy Franks ( Hot Dogs ) |

These hotdogs are wonderful-so much better than just your ketchup or mustard topping. Ingredients:
1 lb hot dog |
2 tablespoons melted butter or 2 tablespoons margarine |
11 3/4 ounces condensed tomato soup, undiluted |
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1/4 cup water |
3 tablespoons vinegar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 small onion, thinly sliced |
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper, seeded |
Directions:
1. Score hotdogs in corkscrew fashion and lightly brown in butter. 2. Stir in next 7 ingredients; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add green pepper; cover and simmer 5 more minutes. 3. Serve in buns. |
