Elvis would have loved this one! Bananas with peanut butter....what's not to like! Jayne says it is REALLY good with praline ice cream! Ingredients:

3 bananas, sliced |
1/3 cup of sugar |
2 tbsp flour |
1/2 tsp cinnamon |
1/2 stick of butter |
topping |
1/2 cup butter, extremely soft |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
1 egg |
1/2 tsp vanilla extract |
1/2 tsp baking soda |
1 cup flour |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350; 2. Slice banans into an 8X8 pan; 3. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and sprinkle over bananas; 4. Dot bananas with 1/2 stick of butter; 5. Make the topping; 6. Cream the butter and the peanut butter; 7. Add the sugars and mix thoroughly; 8. Add in the egg and vanilla; stir! 9. Mix the flour and the baking soda; 10. Add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients; 11. Blend thoroughly; 12. Lightly drop dollops of the topping mixture over the banana mixture, covering the top of the cobbler; 13. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. |
