You always get a salad and a bowl of soup with your food and rice when you order in Japan, it's called a dinner set. I love the dressings! So easy to make too! I used to make the Ginger dressing for my Okinawan friends all the time and they loved it! Ingredients:
1 tablespoon rice vinegar |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil or 2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 teaspoon sesame oil |
1 teaspoon soy sauce |
salt and pepper, to taste |
1 tablespoon rice vinegar |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil or 1 tablespoon olive oil |
1 tablespoon sesame oil |
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger |
1 teaspoon soy sauce |
Directions:
1. To make either dressing put ingredients in a bowl, not ingredients for both dressings though! Just one dressing at a time. 2. Whisk all ingredients in a bowl till combined. 3. Pour over salad or set on side for people to pour themelves! |
