Make it as spicy as you like! The 1/2 teaspoon ground chili is just a starter. Look for the ground chili in the little jar with the Rooster on the label usually found in Asian sections of grocery stores. thanks to Suchit for the recipe! Ingredients:
3 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
2 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium |
1 teaspoon chili paste |
1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic |
1 head medium cabbage |
1/2 cup shredded carrot |
4 lettuce leaves |
Directions:
1. Pour the lime juice and soy sauce in a small bowl. Add the chili paste and garlic and shake well to mix. Set aside. 2. Place shredded cabbage and carrot in a bowl. Mix well. 3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss to mix. 4. Chill. 5. Serve on lettuce leaves. |
